Ronnie L. Kern

Ronnie L. Kern, age 70, of Pickaway County, Ohio, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Ronnie was a graduate of Westfall High School, Class of 1969. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He retired as manager of Midwest Express Trucking after 30 years of service. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Howard Lee & Donna Mae Kern, his brothers Randy Kern and Lee Kern and his sister Jeannie Marshall. Ronnie is survived by his children: Tonya (Thomas McCown) Kern, Rhonda Kern and Nicole Kern, his grandchildren: Brittnay Kern, Dustin (Marki) Seaman and Veronica (Stephen) Marcum, his great-grandchildren: Sydney Seaman, Jaxon Marcum and Presley Marcum, his sisters: Kathy Penn and Sue (Don) Wilson, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and the mother of his children Patty Kern. A special Thank You to the wonderful staff of Berger Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of our dad. Family will receive friends from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 2021 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. TUESDAY. Reverend Billy Carter will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Muhlenburg-Darbyville Cemetery, Darbyville, Ohio. Please note that due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Social Distancing will be observed and Facial Coverings are required at the Funeral Home and at the Cemetery.
