Ruth Ellen Pryor, age 62 of Mt. Sterling died Monday, October 15, 2012 in Madison County Hospital (ER). She was born March 27, 1950 in Madison County. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Neal) Stage.
Preceded in death by husband Dennis F. Pryor and brother Bob Stage.
She is survived by daughters, Marsha Smith of Mt. Sterling; Susan Pryor of Chillicothe; son, Dennis Pryor of Circleville; 5 grandchildren Tricia Smith, Shannon Smith, Heather Pryor, Chianne Beauman, and Jessica Pryor; brothers Bill, Ben, Fred, and Jack Stage; sisters Elizabeth Houser, Kathy Calloway, Mary Bixey, and Linda Overfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Greenfield Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m.
