Sarah Jane (Liff) Nance, age 75 of Mt. Sterling died Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Mt. Carmel West Medical Center in Columbus. She was born November 7, 1938 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
She was a bus driver for Westfall School District for 28 years. After retirement she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Earl and Hazel (Riley) Liff; son, Rex Hix; son-in-law, Wayne Bentley; brothers, Bill, Clarence "Toe", George, and Alva Liff.
Sarah is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marvin Nance; daughter, Beth Ann Bentley; grandchildren Michael Wayne Bentley and Kayla Jane Bentley; great-grandchildren Kevin Wayne Bentley, Marcus Dawayne Bentley, Jayden Riley Bentley, and Journi Nevaeh Wertz; brother Glenn (Carolyn) Liff; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday,
September 30, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jim Blankenship officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6 - 8 pm.
