Scotty "Scott" Pike

Scotty “Scott” Pike, age 83, of Orient, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He retired from Ohio State after 30-plus years of employment. Scott served as a Firefighter for the Tri-County Fire Department for 39 years. He was involved in the Boy Scouts and later became a Scout Leader. Scott loved to golf and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a 51-year resident of the Clark Lakes community and passed away at Brown Memorial Home in Circleville. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Beulah Pike. 

Scott is survived by his loving wife Mary Pike; Son: Eric (Tonja) Pike, and daughter Sarah McCarty; grandchildren: Asilee, Eric Jr., Onicca, Amber, and Brandon; Great grandchildren: Noah, and Luka: close family friends Patrick McCarty and Jasmine Riser. 

The family will welcome friends on MONDAY, March 3, 2025, from 11:00am 1:00pm, the Funeral Service will immediately follow starting at 1:00pm, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, 43143. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, Ohio. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Scott’s memory can be made to the Tri-County Fire District, 7 W. Columbus Street, Mt. Sterling, OH, 43143.
