Sheila (Thomas) Mason, age 74 of London, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at her daughter’s residence. She was born January 21, 1938 in Saleenville, Ohio.
Worked at Madison Plains School District as a bus driver for many years; member of Church of Christ and Christian Union in Sedalia.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Mason, Sr.; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 great-grandson, Phoenix.
Survived by children; Robert Mason, Jr., Teresa (Cecil) Lands, Mary Jane (Scott) Blake, Peggy (Richard) Houser, Juanita Cline, Harold (Frannie) Mason, Bill (Diane) Mason, Roger (Jenifer) Mason, Vickie (Maurice) Bell, George (Carrie) Mason, Tracy Mason (Chuck Peyton); sister Vera (Walt) Tackett; brothers John Thomas of Prairie, Texas; Mike Thomas of Roswell, New Mexico; Keith (Hazel) Thomas of Ohio; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; best friend, Georgia Mercer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 – 5 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Irvin Baldwin officiating. The interment will follow in Range Township Cemetery in Sedalia.
