Shirley Manson, age 75 of South Salem, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 29, 1936 in Darbyville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Evelyn (Shade) Waites.
She is survived by her children John (Sheri) Manson, Charles Waites, Trudy Manson, Jane (Leonard) Fossil, Lori Manson, Al (Celina) Manson, and Sherry Cook; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Loren Waites; half-brother Gary Shade.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service beginning at 12:00 Noon.
The burial will follow in Darbyville Cemetery.
