Shirley A. Mills

Shirley A. Mills, age 85, of Madison Mills, Ohio, passed away at home on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  Born in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Theodore and Blanche McNerlin, Shirley retired as a Quality Control Specialist with CAL-MAR after many years of service.  She was a 50+ year member of Sterling Chapter #74, OES in Mt. Sterling.  In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Dewey Mills, who passed this past June 23, 2023, her son Roger Mills, daughter Debbie Wise, sister Dorothy Harris Scherff and her brother Joe McNerlin. 

She is survived by her son Gary Mills, daughter Barbara “Bobbie” Jerrell, her grandchildren Shane Mills, Colton Mills, Kelli Harmon, Jordan Horn, Sandra Perry and Curtis Richardson, many great-grandchildren, and her loving nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Graveside Funeral Service and OES Service will be held 11:00a.m. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2023 at Madison Mills Cemetery, Madison Mills, Ohio.
