Steven W. George

Steven W. George, age 64, of Mt. Sterling, OH, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Williams, his father Joseph George, Sr., brothers Lee George and Bobby Miller.  Steve is survived by his Dad, James Williams of Mt. Sterling, brother Erick (Becky) George of Mt. Sterling, sister Cheryl (Dan) Dwyer of London, and numerous nieces and nephews; special cousins Dale and Helen Short, good friend Dave Groves of London.  Steve was a Jehovah’s Witness.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, an ironworker and a truck driver.  He loved working on his 1967 Olds.  Family will have graveside services with Military Honors at a later date at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
