Troy C. Sullivan

We have lost a wonderful husband, dad, Pap and Papaw in Troy C. Sullivan. Troy passed at home on Saturday, December 18, 2021. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on December 6, 1941 to Frank and Vada (Smith) Sullivan. In 1964 he came to Columbus and met his wife Ina L. Sullivan. To them were born two daughters Lisa D. (Earl) Meade and Lois Hedges. He has left to mourn these and his four grandchildren Earl (Amber) Meade, III, Matt (Genny) Meade, John (Shelby) Hedges and Carla Hedges, his five great-grandchildren Izzy Meade, Troy Michael Meade, Abby Meade, Morgan Meade and Bailey Uhrig as well as his brother Roy Sullivan, sisters Barbara Hohl, Connie (Bill) Harris and Brenda (Garland) Wells, sister-in-law Wanda Sullivan, and their families, and his many friends including his best friend since age 7, Jimmy Yagodich. Troy was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Vada Sullivan, brothers Carl, Frank and Wayne “Bud” Sullivan, and his sisters Frances Blackburn and Donna Bloomfield. Troy was a retired from General Motors-Fisher Guide and was a member of UAW Local #969, AARP and a life-member of the NRA. Family will receive friends 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2021 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 and again from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2021. Funeral Service will follow the visitation on THURSDAY and begin at 11:00a.m. with burial following at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
