Virginia Irene Schmauch

Virginia Irene (Wolfe) Schmauch, 80, of Newark, died on Friday, March 5, 2021, peacefully at home with her husband Bob at her side. Born August 26, 1940, in Derby, Ohio, she was the daughter of Naomi & Clyde Puckett. She and her first husband, George Wolfe, lived and raised their family in Harrisburg, Ohio. She worked at Lennox Industries where she met her husband, Bob. She worked first in Columbus and then in Marshalltown Iowa before she retired. She was a faithful member of the Church of God, Jacktown.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, George Wolfe, her parents Naomi & Clyde Puckett, and brothers Weldon, Leslie, Marvin, & Norman.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; sister, Janet Kimball; son, George (Sonia) Wolfe; daughter, Tammy (Fred) Nickerson; Stepchildren Janice Schmauch, Janet (Jim) Ebner, Joe (Kim) Schmauch; Sister-in-law, Doris Puckett; Grandchildren, Malory Wolfe, Mason (Jordan) Wolfe, Sarah Carver, Jennifer (Eric) Reiser, Joshua (Rikki) Foster, Jared (Ashley) Foster, Katelyn (Brandon) Allison, Kayla (Mike) Harville, Emily (Matt) Ebner, Zach (Nicole) Schmauch, Logan Schmauch, Cierra Schmauch; great-grandchildren Mason Wolfe Jr., Elijah, Charley, Liam, Mason Foster, Rayna, Braylen, Ava, Maxton, Weston, and nieces, nephews, and many friends. Limited visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 PM, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mount Sterling, OH, 43143. Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark OH 43055.
