William Lee Shotsky

William Lee Shotsky, age 69, passed from life on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fred and Bonnie (Gilpen) Shotsky; brother, Doug; and sister, Lynn. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carolyn Beale Shotsky; sons, Patrik (Holly) DePappe, William J. (Stacy) Shotsky, Douglas (Marlaina) Shotsky and daughters, Stephanie Shotsky and Karen (Jeff) Nevi; grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Kyle, Keith, Devon, Drew, Ellie, William D., Kady, Victoria, Jeremiah, Spencer, Cora, Sullivan, and Baby Girl Nevi; great grandchildren, Isabella and Maddox. Bill was a loving father and grandfather. He loved Ford Mustangs and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Served honorably as a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was retired from employment in manufacturing. He and his wife traveled in later years to many museums and Civil War Battle Fields. He was a Christian who attended Sugar Grove Methodist Church, Sterling Grace Church and Atlanta UMC. Friends may call Monday, February 8, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St. in Mt. Sterling, OH. Interment Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Sterling Community Center or the Atlanta United Methodist Church.
