Jeffrey Ray Blankenship

Jeffrey Ray Blankenship, age 33, of Grove City, Ohio, went to Heaven on Thursday, December 23, 2021 as the result of an automobile accident.  Born in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State University Hospital, Jeff was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan.  He was also a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.  A multiple athlete, Jeff loved all sports and was a football and baseball player while he attended Grove City High School as a member of the 2006 Class.  Jeff loved music.  He loved to make people laugh.  What a sense of humor he had!  Jeff loved his kids and all of his family.  To him, his family was always #1.  Jeff was a J&L Operator with Buckeye Boxes and made many good friends there. He was proud of his work.  Jeff, you will be sorely missed.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob & Geraldine Blankenship and Janice Haughn.  Jeff  is survived by his children: Abbigail D. Blankenship, Cassius E. Grigsby, Jace L. Burns and Jameson L. Burns, father Bobby Blankenship and his wife Tina, mother Laura Blankenship and her husband Mark Tackett, his brothers and sisters: Joseph (fiancé Samantha Moore) Blankenship, Jeremy Blankenship, Sarah Holdrieth, Michael Holdrieth, Jennifer (Eric) Bassinger, Carl (Brittany) Tackett and Elizabeth Tackett, nieces Addalyn and Camry “Toyota”, grandfather Ronald Haughn, aunts and uncles: Teresa Blankenship, Chris & Karen Blankenship, Melissa Blankenship, Brett & Christina Blankenship and Karen Haughn, great-aunt Mary Beth Tackett, and many other loving relatives, co-workers and friends.  Family will receive friends 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. TUESDAY, JANUARY 4, 2022 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt.
